Upper Valley Rowing Foundation
COVID-19 Policy – Effective January 2022
The following Covid-19 protocol for Upper Valley Rowing Foundation members is set up to ensure the safety of all our members and to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
For the 2022 season, ALL members must be fully protected against COVID-19. This means that to participate in any program (sweep or sculling), to use any club equipment, to rent a rack, or to volunteer, members must be fully vaccinated and boosted.
Those who have had the Covid-19 virus and have recovered are NOT considered vaccinated and cannot participate in club activities until fully vaccinated and boosted.
Updates to the Covid-19 guidelines can be found on the CDC website.
Documentation of vaccination will be required for all members. Send an email to
with a scan of your vaccination card or to request alternative options for verification.
When you are at Kendal Riverfront Park:
· Continue to adhere to social distancing and cleansing of hands.
· The town of Hanover has paused its mask mandate but anyone who chooses to mask is of course encouraged to do so.
· Wipe down UVRF oars and boats before returning them to the rack.
· Do not row if you are sick or have been in close contact with someone who has Covid-19.
There will be no exceptions to the vaccination policy. Lifting the mask mandate does not lift the requirement that if you are rowing in a UVRF team boat, you still must show proof of vaccination.
